3 1/2 weeks down, 4 to go.

This is officially our second weekend home from camp, and i believe we get to come home every weekend from now until july 18. but anyhow, let me tell you a little about camp. Week 1's speaker was Jacob Jester. He was pretty good, reminded me of a King James senior pastor type. The band for the week was Johnathan Lee and they were incredible on and off stage. We had a lot of fun with them over the week. We did however have some accidents happen, one of which was quite scary. But i'm glad to say, Prayer works. and the murse is home and improving more every day. Week 2's speaker was Reggie Dabbs. If you don't know that name, i'm sure you will soon. He and week 3 were probably my favorite speakers. Reggie just has a way of connecting to the youth. For one of the altar calls, he did this three part thing. He called all the female leaders to the front of the room to represent "moms" and the male leaders to the back to represent "dads". He made several calls to the altar, for kids dealing with drugs and whatnot, to kids being abused. the moms had to sort through the crowd at the altar and hug every child for about 5 seconds. after time was up, Reggie would say "move" and the moms would move to another child. the dads went to the ones still in their seats and did the same thing. After every child was hugged in that room, Reggie made a call to continue the altar call in their cabins, and meet back in the tabernasium in 30 minutes. That night was incredible, probably one of the most unique altar calls i've seen. Week 3 was Allen Griffin, also very talented in reaching young people. He has his own style, asking for a "face-melting guitar solo" in the middle of praise and worship, and getting students to dance their way to the offering buckets. But it was so much fun, and I can't believe camp is half way over. The crew is getting along pretty good. We have about 7 people who didn't work last year, but 2 of those worked previous years. so we have a good mix of veterans and newbies. But by this week, you could no longer tell who was a veteran and who was a newbie. This upcoming week will be week 4, and first assembly will be attending. I'm really excited. The speakers are Justin and Kari Romero, and praise and worship will be done by Beaver *aka, Steve Morgan* Well, i guess that's all I have for you today. I picked my classes yesterday for school. That was exciting too. and hopefully, with in the next couple months, I'll have some really really good news for you? =) heh.

oh, and congrats to aaron and lexie for finally being official. haha.
Peace Out Guysssss.
